Did you know …

There are 7 main Chakras located in our bodies which transmit and receive energy.

  • Each of these chakras (or energy centres) correlate to specific parts of our body and each has its own unique purpose.
  • Our Chakras do not work together in harmony when we are negatively affected both physically and emotionally.
  • It is essential that our 7 Chakras stay aligned, balanced and active in order for us to experience peace, happiness and vibrant health.

When one or more of our Chakras are out of balance we may experience worry, fear, depression or even fall ill.

So, what can you do to keep your Chakras healthy and in balance?

This may be easier than you think, and to prove it, here are 5 really easy ways to keep your chakras aligned:

Spend time in nature

Sitting in grass or walking barefoot is a great way to feel more connected and absorb the healing energy of nature. This will also help to keep you grounded and bring more peace into your life.

Even adding flowers or plants to your home will make a positive difference. If you find that one particular Chakra is in need to some TLC why not use flowers in the colour of that Chakra to really ramp up the healing power?

Practice creative visualisation

Clearing your mind from negative mind chatter is the first step to successful visualisation. Mindfulness or meditation can really help you achieve this and once your mind is clear, try visualising images that represent happiness or love.

For example, you could visualise a flower blossoming or a heart blessing each of your Chakras.

Breathe deeply

Breathing with intention is one of the easiest and most effective ways to restore your chakras.  Again, meditation can be super helpful to achieve a deep and steady breath, or even try an exercise such as the 4 – 7 – 8 Technique.

To do this:

  • Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four.
  • Hold your breath for a count of seven.
  • Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of eight.
  • Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.

To help bring your Chakras into their natural and harmonic balance, every time you inhale, direct the energy of your breath to your Chakra; exhale and allow awareness to settle into the Chakra.

Wear the right colours

Did you know that each of your Chakras emits a different colour and each colour represents a specific vibration?

Red – represents your Root Chakra

Orange – represents your Sacral Chakra

Yellow – represents your Solar Plexus Chakra

Green or pink – represents you Heart Chakra

Blue – represents your Throat Chakra

Indigo or purple – represents your Third Eye Chakra

Purple or white – represents your Crown Chakra

For example, if you’re working on balancing your Heart Chakra, make sure you wear green or pink.

Practice gratitude

I’m sure that you probably know that when you’re in a state of gratitude, you instantly raise your vibrational frequency.

When you raise your vibration, you open your Chakras and you start attracting more positive things in your life such as abundance, happiness, peace and even better relationships!
